Hi All,

I have a 86' Pickup that's got about 240k on the original 22r that just started knocking from the bottom of the engine. I had taken it in for a tune up and the mechanic got it to pass emissions by changing the timing and that made the knock go away but I'm guessing I'm running on borrowed time.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop that could tear the engine down and see if I just have a part failing or if I need a full engine replacement? Other than some trim I need to replace the truck is in solid mechanical shape and I'd love to keep it going as my daily driver as long as possible.
