ISO the bronze emblems or where to go to get them redone. I have been searching for weeks! Runner has been garage kept its whole life. Original 58324 miles on it. The back hatch 4Runner is the main one I’m looking for.

 

Maybe eBay, you could try the dealer. Talk to a body shop locally they may be able to get them thru CAPA.

 

No luck on EBAY. Body shops I have tried said to just delete it. No luck with dealerships either. I was hoping a member on here might have one. You can find the silver all day long on ebay and even dealerships still. I was told that dealers had these done at dealerships by local guys back 23 years ago. I have looked up the electromagnetic plating as they call it and no one seems interested in doing such a small job.

 

The few I have left are gold. The biggest trouble is they are so brittle trying to remove them. I’ve tried piano wire to saw away the double sided tape, but any amount of lifting causes them to break.

 

I appreciate it. They are extremely hard to find. The ones I have been able to find in salvage yards are the same way. I lucked up on the other emblems finding NOS parts. Hopefully someone has one laying around in good shape. I know most ppl usually strip them off for that clean look, as would I, but being this thing is in mint condition with no miles on it, I’m trying to keep it all original. I have yet to find a Supercharged 98 Limited even for sale with less than 60,000 miles on it.
