HELP! 94 TOYOYA pickup *VIBRATION* @ idle

I bought a 94 Pickup about 6 months ago. is in great shape. After a couple months I started to notice the truck would vibrate a bit at idle. It's increased a bit but it's minor but enough to annoy me. I can feel it everywhere in the vehicle but not when the trucks moving. I change spark plugs and it still vibrate the dashboard, mirrors, gear stick, and even the seats a bit. I took it to a mechanic and he said it's just wear
and tare but it wasn't doing that when I bought it. I've only put 2000 miles on it. Can anyone help? Thanks

LOL, with these trucks, it's all backwards from common logic. If your Toyota rig isn't shaking, you have something seriously wrong with it. The shaking is the soul of the truck jittering like a dog wanting to go to the park. The truck thinks you're going to the mountains every time you drive it and can't help itself. My truck has been shaking and rattling and dancing at idle for 300,000 miles.

The engine and tranny mounts on these rigs are cave-man levels of low tech. Not much better than just bolting the drivetrain straight to the frame with no rubber.

I'm being mostly serious. And if you want to try tuning a little of the shaking out, sometimes all it takes is a little turning of the idle screw to get the idle RPM out of the natural resonance that makes them shake harder at some RPMs.

Yep haha before I 3.4 swapped my 93 3vz it wiggled around so bad at idle the stick would literally tap my leg like an excited dogs tail.

That's cause it's excited. Like the dog that thinks it's time to to the woods to have fun. Not to the vet for his shots
The truck thinks it's time for some off-roading, Not going to the shop for some work to be done. The shifter is patting your leg to say "Let's GO, boss!"

On a serious(er) note: Don't get the idle TOO high, or you'll run into the fuel cut situation. When your foot's on the brake, the idle will hunt up and down. Big, long explanation as to why. Comes down to KEEP THE IDLE BELOW 1000 RPM, or you'll learn all about it quickly.

Have fun!
Let your truck run on occasion, too. Keep it happy, it'll keep you happy!

You could have a vacuum leak that causes a rough idle. If the engine mounts are original, they can also contribute to the vibration you are feeling.

What did your mechanic do when you took your truck in?
