Costa Rican Diesel: Esta Bien, Bien

Checking myt email today, so i figured i would give the old yota boyz a shout out. been down here for 10 days or so...after some surf in tamarindo, we rented a 2003 4runner to head into the rainforest and see the volcano arenal. A turbo diesel none the less. Lots of low end torque and it seemed much better milage, although with the ole liter conversion it is hard to know for sure. I was impressed witrh ther torque in the 1000-1500 rpm range, especially navigating some of these back ass roads. did some mudding onm the south lake road around arenal, got the car plenty muddy for budget and snapped some pics, but it will be next month before i can get thenm posted, since i wont be back in the states for another 3weeks. will post then for sure, but we will rtent the car again next week, once we leave the coast. it is nice to be on vacation and still be driving the old runner around the country. hard to believe you can miss a car...toyota rocks...

now lets all get in on a group buy and get some diesels to the US...

It is our own government that is keeping us from having the Diesels we want.
