Can you drop in a 22r and tranny mated without cutting radiator support?

I have a 87 4x4 pickup, wondering if I can drop in the motor and tranny together without cutting the radiator support? Please lemme know asap before I cut it and find out i didn't have to. Don't really wanna weld it back in if I can leave it whole.

No way they definitely build the cabin around the engine in the assembly plant!

Yes the whole assembly fits if you have the ground clearance to rotate it and have the radiator out.

I have. Remove the radiator and have the engine/trans chained up so you can tilt it toward vertical. Have the front jacked up some so you have more vertical clearance. My transfer case was also on and I don't remember it being any big deal.
