1990 needs new legs. Tie rods? Shocks?
I'm on a journey of discovery on my 1990 runner suspension and learning there's some work to be done. I'm doing what archeology I can to figure out what's going on down here, but I'm fresh, so I could use some advice. I want to do this once and would rather pay a few extra bucks for quality, but I have other hobbies, so let's not get carried away.
Tie rod ends: definitely shot on pass side. They have a jolly wiggle to them on them. Driver's side is iffy too so might just replace em while I'm down there.
Do I replace these with OEM, or is there a good aftermarket option? Should I replace the adjusting sleeves while I'm down there?
Ball joints: Ripped on the driver's side and started grinding this weekend after a 300 miles of highway driving. Yikes!
Replacing these with OEM, even though the repair records claim they were repaired in 2019... they must have used the worst aftermarket parts available.
Rear springs: Mashed potatoes. They're drooping 2" below the front, with what is likely the OG shocks.
Considering OME nitro sport + OME coil springs. I plan to install armor so I'm opting for the Heavy load springs. Sounds decision here, or should I stick to Medium? Alternate options?

Front shock: Gas-a-just front shocks in 2017. Seem...fine?
These are functional, but if I'm already doing the balljoints, do I just go for it and add OME's to match the back?

Pitman/idle arms are supposedly installed 2017, Sway bar links new in 2019 and axles look ok.
Anything else I'm missing? Thanks!

Stick with the OME medium rear coils unless you're always loaded with several hundred pounds in the back.
As to front ball joints and tie rod ends, Beck Arnley parts I have bought have all been Sankei 555 Japanese made parts.
Rockauto often has good prices.
No need to buy the sleeves unless rust or damage is an issue.

Excellent, thanks millball
For the rear/front suspention, will I need anything other than the shocks and coil springs? Should I be replacing bushings or is there anything else that's prone to failing that I should swap while I'm down there?
