how much $ for a true locking differential?

how much $ for a true locking differential?
i may decide to go with a non TRD pickup but i like the idea of having a lockijng differential. how much can i expect to pay for a true locking rear for the tacoma 96+ ?

if you don't get a trd model, you'll have the 8.4 diff. an ARB for that will probably cost around $600, another $200 for the compressor and then there's install fees

I'd vote just get the TRD and save yourself the install hassle, unless you can do it yourself.
