What is this port??

What is this port that was blocked off with a banjo type bolt with a plug in it on my 86 22re block? Driver side behind cyl #4. When I pulled the plug it was completely clogged with burnt oil.

I believe that is the coolant block drain, should have a plug.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I should consult my FSM to see if I need to fill it with fig when I put my motor back together!
