Hi I have a 1994 Toyota pickup my speedometer isn’t working. I have tried buying a replacement speed sensor but can only find the wrong one. Any ideas on what the part number is? The PN I’ve been given is
83181-35051 it is a 1994 Toyota Pickup, 4WD 22RE, 5 spd mt

Also the gear only has 18 teeth.

83181-35050 is the part number for my 92 22RE 5spd 4x4 DLX, looks like the same one you pulled out of your 94. Says discontinued.

 

Search by your VIN number at Toyota part websites to get the correct part number. It's possible there is more than one part number. Then go to RockAuto, and you can match the part number. Just make sure you read the description like automatic and manual transmission.

More than likely Standard Intermotor Genuine Import Parts and NTK are the same thing you would get if you bought the Toyota part.
