filter relo/pressure gauge question.

I have an autometer oil pressure gauge I'd like to install, unfortunately I need an adapter that's over $25 with shipping.

I was wondering if they make oil filter relo kits that have an orifice for attaching an oil pressure sending unit? That way, I'd kill two birds with one stone.

Not that I've seen. However, the inlet/outlet threads are usually ½"NPT so just put a tee in there. This is how I did my oil temperature guage sender. I'd put it somewhere after the filter like on the outlet of the remote filter or the inlet back into the block.

Thanks for the quick reply, I read you're other related posts when I searched.
Where did you mount the remote filter?

It should be easy to accomplish, since I'll probably use a Ford relo adapter, everything will be standard, so no metric crap to deal with. I used to use a Ford PH8 (Fram) filter in my Celica, so I'm pretty sure the Ford relo adapter will work.

This is just another thing I'm starting to think about doing after my last college class is done, in 16 days!!!!

BTW, I'm still stoked about my new gear install, it is WAY faster and easier to drive then it used to be. I had 4:30, and was considering going to 4:56, but I figured if I was spending the big $$, I wanted to see a difference, and I did. Next time I need tires, I'll probably get 32's, and that'll slow it back down a bit.

My filters have been mounted all over over the years. Started out in the right front wheelwell, then went to the frame under the driver's seat and are now in the right front corner of the frame where the radiator used to be.
