Trade my '93 SR5 gauge cluster w/tach for your base level cluster w/o tach
Long time lurker here, first post. I'm 80% of the way through a 1.9 TDI swap into my '93 Xtracab SR5 3.0 5-speed. Truck's running and driving and I am about to start tidying up the wiring.
My truck has the deluxe instrument cluster with a tach, oil pressure, and voltmeter. I don't have any real interest in or need for the tach and oil pressure gauges, or doing the extra contortions to get them working, so rather than looking at them sitting there dead, I'd prefer to just swap in the base level cluster with no tach.
I see that folks swapping up from that basic cluster to the deluxe cluster is a popular upgrade. Anyone done that swap and have their old non-tach cluster they want to sell? It can be out of either a 22re or V6 truck, doesn't matter, but does need to be from a manual trans rig (without auto trans shift position indicators) and needs to be from an electronic speedo truck, not cable driven. My truck has 183k miles on the odometer, ideally I would like to put in a cluster that reads at least in that same ballpark, give or take a few thousand, but I can live with it if not.
OR, anyone still have the basic cluster in their truck now, and looking to swap to the deluxe cluster? I will trade with you. Again similar miles would be ideal but I'm open to anything that works.
TIA, and thanks for all the great info here, been meaning to post some info and photos on the build, I'll do it eventually...

I’m down
I have around 230k miles though. I’m genuinely interested and would be happy to send mine first so you wouldn’t have to wonder. Email me. Jdmz31t@yahoo.com
