Hey everyone ran into some issues with finding a replacement for my fuel gauge sending unit. Recently was having unrelated work done on my truck when the sender broke upon removing the tank. My truck is chassis code VZN110, which unfortunately as I am finding out means that this fuel sender is apparently discontinued. Part No. on the sender is 8332080127. Picture below for reference.
note plug shape
I have been searching all over the internet, checking 4runner and hilux parts, but nowhere seems to have the same shape of plug that matches the truck's connector to the gauge. I was thinking about possibly splicing on a different sender, but I don't want to start cutting until I got more opinions.
Nowhere on google or ebay I can find has this part in stock. the 4Runner part number 8332080128, seems to have a different shaped plug. Any help, resources, or ideas would be appreciated.

Reason: fixed chassis code
For anyone that cares I found a solution, I was able to use Fuel sender Toyota (83320-80122). This is not exactly the same as it lacks the extra module for the fuel warning light. But, it appears to work. pictured.
Interesting. You have installed that one, and it seems to send a proper signal and functions? I have read that different senders have different OHM readings, and they need to match in order for it to send an accurate signal to the gauge. My research has turned up that there is no direct replacement for these sending units, but I hope I'm wrong!
I have the "Gauge functions fine until I've driven 60ish KM then drops to empty" problem. Filling up everytime and resetting the trip counter works, but it would be really nice to have a proper working gauge!
If you have that weird 4 pin connector (which I can seldom seem to find) it will plug in to your truck and as far as I can tell it sends an accurate signal.
