Just picked up a 87 4runner 4WD ATM with the 22RE. Initially it was having trouble starting and then would lack power severely. On the first drive the check engine light would come on at 45-50 mph. Checked the codes and got 5, 6, 7, 11. Popped the hood and found the TPS connector loose. Fixed that and the starting/lack of power issue is gone. However, even after clearing the codes, the check engine light still comes on at 45-50 mph. As soon as I slow down the light goes away. Also, with the TPS connection fixed, it is driving fine. Shifts through gears normally, throttle response normal, ect.
Any ideas on what is causing it to continue to throw the same codes. Thanks for the help.
