Trying to remove the front fenders on my 1988 Toyota pickup. I’ve removed all the bolts on the fender but am having trouble getting the fender off. I have read in other posts that you have to pry with a flat head or pry bar to get the silicone glue to break it loose but the one spot I have tried is bending the metal a little bit. Is that unavoidable or is there a better way? TIA

 

Never noticed any seam sealer on mine, how certain are you that you didn't miss some bolt. Behind the door, under the trim, and near the bumper brackets are a few I can think of.

 

For sure there was seam sealer on mine. Just make sure you have all the bolts out and maybe a good idea to take the cowl off first. then lift fenders from the bottom area. There are bolts behind the signal lights too.
