Hey there! I have a '91 winnebago warrior 21 footer with a v6 automatic transmission. She drives just fine, but whenever I put her in drive the engine begins to wobble or shake significantly until I accelerate and then she evens out. When I slow down to stop and am idling in gear she goes back to wobbling. When I put it in park though or reverse there is no shaking. I'm curious if it has something to do with the transmission like a misfiring or compressed cylinder but not sure. I also tried to drive up a hill the other day that I use to have no problem climbing merely a few months ago, but now she can't seem to make it up when I accelerate fully. She just simply slows to a stop even with the pedal fully to the floor. Would appreciate any insight or advice if anyone has had similar experience with these symptoms. Thank you! She has about 160,000 miles right now.

 

What sort of condition are your motor/transmission mounts in??

losing power could be head gaskets etc
