91 toyota pickup windshield wiper linkage
Last week my driver side windshield wiper started to flop around with use. I took it off and different arm and it did the same thing. I see that the linkage side has play in it. I already took off the vent cover and I have several linkages I can put in. How do i get it out? It looks like the dang windshield almost needs to come out.

You should just be able to pop the linkage off the motor, unbolt both wiper arms and it pulls out of the vent holes, just did mine about a year ago and I don’t remember the exact steps but you definitely do not have to remove the windshield

Thanks figured it out. A lot easier than it looked. From another post:
"You will have to remove both wipers and mounting nuts/sleeve from the cowl. Remove access panel on drivers side above clutch res. And then pull wiper motor out and disconnect the linkage from motor. Look through the cowl vents to help remove the linkage, there is brace on driver side and heater vent on right side, to work around."
