Igniter part no. for 1985 T4R 22re motor

We own a 1985 T4R with an 22re motor. The igniter (ignition control module) needs to be replaced, but there are two different modules listed in the Toyota Parts Catalogue for the truck's VIN, neither of which is currently installed in the vehicle. Each of these two listed igniters has its own unique part number. One unit has a sticker that says part no. 89620-35160 & Mark 053. The other unit has a sticker that says part no. 89620-35170 & Mark 065. Our questions are as follows. What does "Mark" refer to? How do we determine which of the two igniters is the correct fitment?

RockAuto lists the 89620-35170 for your vehicle. As for the mark I dunno. All the Ignition modules for the mid to late '80s 22re's I have seem to be interchangeable. Mine are all in a storage unit right now so I can't get a good look at them.

85turborunner: Thanks for the info. Agreed, various ignition modules all seem to work. My understanding is that the modules are supposed to be model specific, but I suppose the models are pretty similar which is why they seem to be interchangeable. I do not have confidence that Rockauto has properly listed the Toyota part number. The Airtex and SMP aftermarket versions are in fact the same part, just packaged in different boxes. But RockAuto says that the Airtex version is a correct fit and that the SMP version is not.
