TPS code 41 even though TPS tests out fine

1993 22re 4x2. TPS shows resistance within spec, harness has continuity to ECM. According to the FSM, my problem occurs when "there is no voltage between ECM terminals VTA and E2 (E21)"

I'm not very electrically savvy, so I ask you guys: could the TPS share a circuit with something else that is causing an "open or short in [the] throttle position sensor signal (VTA) for 500 msec. or more"

According to the FSM troubleshooting flow chart, my ECM is toast, because it passes every other test. And it ONLY throws code 41. My TPS checks out fine and is adjusted properly. I popped the top of the ECM off and it LOOKS clean, but I'm not really the guy to verify that. I'd hate to replace the TPS and ECM to find out the problem lies elsewhere. Any electrical guys have any ideas?

Remember any code is the complete circuit

Check the plug and wire harness around the TPS for corrosion and physical damage to the wire harness

Have any fuses opened ??

Anything happen just before the light came on??

Do any work on the truck??
