Starting issues in my T100

Hey all, I'm having some problems with consistently starting my truck. I have a year old battery and just replaced the copper contacts in my starter motor which I read about on here. Only a mild improvement after that.

What I'm experiencing;

First start every day; perfect. This is even with me draining the battery (a little) at night with the radio on, dome light, and charging my phone for a little bit once the truck is off. This fact alone makes me believe it's not a battery issue.

She also starts perfectly if I restart her within ~20 minutes of turning it off (ie. going into a store)

After 30 minutes and up until 8 hours later she doesn't want to start. I crank for 3-5 seconds while giving a little gas and that's the only way to get her going.

What's going on?! I don't want to speculate and show my naivete so I'll leave that to you guys.

I am guessing 3.4??

It is a hard staring issue not a fails to crank problem??

Is the Check engine light on??

You have already done the normal things plugs ,wires and air filter ??

From what your describing it sounds like leaky injectors after sitting over 30 minutes the plugs are wet and won`t fire till they dry off.

It might also be fuel pressure is bleeding off else where in the fuel system if this was the problem it would be every time

After sitting over night things are dry and good to go

Remember Fuel Injected Engine stepping on the throttle just allows more air not any added fuel

I think Wyoming nailed it. If you can, check your fuel pressure and watch when you shut the engine off, it will likely bleed off, it may be slow.
