Im currently working on preparing my 3.4 swap. I have a 3.4 from a 98 4runner. I took it all apart today for paint and reseal. While trying to reassemble it I can't find a place for the front line of the throttle body coolant hose is supposed to go. Im not sure if I forgot it or if it was already disconnected when I pulled the engine. I don't have a hose that looks like it's supposed to be connected to it so I think it was already undone. Does anybody know where it's supposed to be routed back into the cooling system at?
Your right. I finally found it. Turned out to be a random hose under the hood of the truck the motor came from. Glad I picked it up. It runs under the throttle body and connects to the small port off of the coolant bypass hose.
As for the throttle body, I'll get to it. It's not as bad a the picture makes it look. The flash brings out all the little imperfections in everything.
