Hey yall, just wanting some pro's and con's and tips on what I should do.
Im a fresh college graduate and im in the market for a vehicle, my two vehicles right now are my '91 toyota pickup (289,000+ miles) and a '97 acura (501,000+ miles). As yall can tell they are stacking up the miles, I have never owned a new vehicle (or anything newer than 1999 for that fact) and I want something newish, a wise purchase and something that can get me to the beach or mountains without the ever lingering thought of "hope my car doesnt explode on this road trip". I hike, hunt, mountain bike, kayak and fish a lot so roof rack and storage space are a must. Anyways the thought of purchasing a 40k+ 4runner makes me nervous financially so I am leaning towards a good used (maybe 6 speed) FJC. If yall have any wisdom on new cars, financing and all that please let me know.
