Looking to upgrade my rear coils, my 4runner has bilstein 5100's all around and the truck is 2wd model with 4x4 4runner springs as a simple upgrade from the 2wd ones.
But I wanted to get a little more rear lift to make the 4Runner level again and give it a more better ride. What should I be looking to get? I'm not to sure and could use some good advice.

 

Define a little more lift ??

To some that could mean 3" plus

Lift and ride quality most times don`t play well together

Why do you need the extra height ??

 

just looking to level it out, it sags a little in the rear and it's horrible with people in the back seat, plus I have 285/75/16 tires and it would help

I have Bilstein 5100's in front and rear I put the TRD Tundra coils in the front and Landcruser 80 series springs in the back, this will give you a lot of lift but will require a diff drop and adjustable pan hard bar to get the rear back in alignment with the front. It may be way too much lift for what you are looking for.

If you put bigger springs in the back be sure everything is still tracking good when you're done. Mine didn't look like it was out of track but it was.

 

In the end, anything is better than what you currently got. It will come down to what you're willing to spend.

Anyone would agree, sagging rear sucks for both ride quality and look.
