Found this connector unplugged in my engine bay.. to be more precise, only the bottom part of the connector was unplugged.

Looks like the reverse lights and 4wd indicator light in dash connectors...

So the bottom connector controls both? Is it just the lights on the dash that it controls, or is it the actual reverse lights?

I'd go test it, but it's not put together at the moment.

Would like to know if I need to fix that connector before I put it back together, since it won't be very easy to access once it's back together.

With your help, I did some googling and I figured out that the bottom connector is for automatic transmissions. I have a manual so I'm in good shape. Thanks for the response!

That thing is unconnected in mine too, ha. It is a 5 speed. My reverse lights do work, but my in-dash 4wd light does not. I think the wiring can't reach the case anyway since I have dual cases.
