Replacement mirrors for vent window trucks?

Replacement mirrors for vent window trucks?
Anyone know where to find good replacement mirror heads for this style of mirror?
I've replaced them a few times with these and they are total junk and fall apart after a few months:

Plug that into Amazon @ $25.00 compared to what your paying
See if this is what you want

Grote part # 12193-5
Plug that into Amazon @ $25.00 compared to what your paying

Here's a pair, new in box , for $39.99 each. I got a different brand set off eBay and am happy. Mine were made in 1983. They are getting to be hard to find. I search "compact truck mirrors" to find them.

Might take a little work but I think I ought to be able to make them work.
