NEED Torque Specs - Leaf Spring U-Bolts
Can anyone tell me the correct torque specs for an 88 3VZE Pickup U-bolts?
The 88 manual (22RE only) says 90 FT-LBS. The '93FSM says 108 FT-LBS. I think technically the axle in both trucks was the same for 4X4. Axle G292.
Anyone know the correct torque specs?
Anyone have the 88 FSM for 3VZE engine (different book for 22RE - that manual is available in some of the online links)
Thanks

From: I live in New Tripoli Pa out in the woods
I have never torqued any u bolts just run them up nice and even
Any where between 70 to 110 Foot pounds
The trick is having the torque even that is why there is such a wide range
Since I need to cut my u bolts off mine are always new which makes it much easier
