I just got a K&N filter for my Taco(yeah, yeah) and when I tried to put it in, it wouldn't fit right. The cage that you have to attach to the element would not stay attached and when I put it in, it was ver loose and did not make a good seal. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the cage supposed to attach very securely to the element or does it just sit on there?

 

i got one for my 2.7 and it fit fine, but our air boxes are not the same
