My air intake is melting and there's a small amount of gas on it from some mystical place anyone have any ideas?

EFI or Carb truck.

For EFI
Do you have the stock air box? After market cone filter? Have you done any work to the rig lately? Did you do an air box battery swap?

If carb I can't help you there. The more details you give the better.

 

Put a vacuum gauge on it and look for a burnt valve, you will see the needle vibrate.

Put a timing light to it and verify the ignition timing is not to far advanced.
