Looking for a metal shop in SO Cal to custom skid plates
I was wondering if anyone in So.Cal knows where I can go to get some skid plates custom made. And also, how much do they generally cost?

Most folks charge anywhere from 45-60 an hr. It takes more than a day to make a bumper so.....
Overall, it's not worth it to pay a shop to do it. It's cheaper to see some bumper you like and order it. Even with shipping, it will be cheaper.

If you are willing to go south to OC or east to the Inland Empire you could try Dirt Werks at 909-520-0064 or Joe/Desert steel at (909)541-6265 or Kenny at (714) 402 8021 there are tons more, look on desertrides.com and dezertrangers.com for more shops. Also look in the yellow pages under fabrication, or metal working. I also think Demello http://www.demello-offroad.com is in Socal. good luck!

Talk to Jason (jason@demello-offroad.com). Have him build ya one.
Actually he'll be working on my truck this week so you might want him to see if he can fab one up for ya while my truck is there. This way all you have to do is drop by and have him install it
He's in Santa Ana, CA so it should be pretty close.
