1993 pickup 4wd sr5. I hear a small clang when I first start moving in 1st/2nd gear/r.... Seems to be as soon as when J let the clutch out and the driveshaft starts to turn. How can I tell if this is a u joint or carrier bearing? Thanks for the help.

 

The only thing you can do is get under and move things looking for movement where their should not be any

If it is to the point your feeling it should be easy to find .

Just don`t put it off to long losing a drive shaft is not fun
