Hey guys,
Ive read through a couple of forums and looked at the FSM, but im still scared of messing with my t-case.

Just want to confirm that if I pull off my transfercase output flanges to replace my output seals, there are no crush sleeves (like you would find in a differential) or anything else that would effect bearing preload? Just crank the nut back to 90lbs and call it a day?

Specifically I need to do the rear output seal, but Id like to know about the front output seal too. Might do them both if its easy.

No crush-sleeve issues.

Torque to 90-95fp and you're golden.

Front output is the same except for the existance of a pressed in steel retainer and heavy felt protector in front of the seal.

Drain the case before you mess with the front output, to avoid an oil mess.
