2000 Tacoma front end swap

Hey all,
I have a 2000 Tacoma that rear ended someone pretty good. The core is smashed in, and both wheel wells are scrunched up. I got a good entire core support with wells off of a 98 4Runner, and intend to just swap it in. I've run into a few questions in the process, and am looking for write ups or tips from experience in this project. I'm discovering that I'll probably have to just cut off the old and weld in the new. Anyone have tips or advice on this? I'm in new territory. I pulled off the fenders and started drilling spot welds.

New support waiting. Even got a good condenser!

My '94 with a new lightbar installed.

That looks like a miserable job. I would have to turn it over to a body shop personally. Maybe somebody else can give you some wisdom.
