Hello, I've been lurking a long time. Now I need help.
Looking for a L52, or a L45 would do also.
Something to get me by till I can get my L52 rebuilt.
I'm in Missouri.

This is my 4th 1st gen pickup, the first one I had was a '81 2wd back in '85.
Really don't have much practice working on them though, they never gave me much trouble.

 

I am located in the Southwest part of the state. Look in the Joplin Craigslist and there is a guy that has several of that generation of transmissions if you want to come this way. If you cant find the guy I am talking about, PM me and I can get the information for you.

I'm by St.Louis.
I did find one up in Iowa, and sure enough as soon as I got home got a lead on another close to home.
That can be a spare I guess.
If I ever get out that way, I will look you up.
