I have experienced several times now while towing my UTV trailer with the cruise control on and begin to climb a hill the cruise increases the engine speed to maintain my setting but suddenly the transmission seems to disengage, the RPM stays at 4000 but my speed is slowing down quickly as if I disengaged the cruise and have not pressed on the accelerator to keep my speed up but the RPM has not fallen. I have to turn the cruise off as it will not allow me to manually press the accelerator to increase my speed, once the cruise is off I now have control over my speed again, anyone else experienced this?
