I'm looking for a spot to get some off road time. I'm sure there is tons of spots around here, I JUST DONT KNOW ANY!

For the most part my 4Runner 4x4 is basically stock so please keep that in mind. Anyone have any recommendations? Thank you

 

None in Citrus Hts or Roseville unless you're running an RC crawler, it's all residential, lol. Head out toward the back roads of Foresthill, Grass Valley, etc up in the foothills. Otherwise, look at all the guides for the local trails - maybe start out small on something like Signal Peak since you're all stock. Keep in touch with the NorCal guys, we might make a couple local runs this summer for us non-hardcore guys.

 

Where is Signal Peak?..... IV been out towards old Latrobe road where everyone shoots guns. Between Scott and Latrobe. Let's get a group together and go out for a day!

 

Yeah, there are areas out that way to play around too. Prairie City OHV park is kinda out that way too, I've never been there.

Signal Peak (the more challenging way), Eagle Lakes OHV and Fordyce trail all share the same trailhead - it's off Eagle Lakes exit on I-80 near Cisco Grove, CA.

Google search for all the local trails, there are lists with maps and info. I think NorCal TTORA, Gentry Offroad, and a few Heep wheeling sites have listings. There are also a few books. You can also download/go get a forest service map and it has all the fire roads mapped out.
