Door hinge help

I need to slide the top of my driver's door forward a bit but the hinge is not adjustabel. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it, will a different truck hinge possibly fit? Thanks for any help sharon

door hinge

If you loosen the bolts that attach the hinge to the door that should give you the movement you are looking for.

I tried that but that really didn't help at all :-( but thanks for the quick response
