Hello all. I've got an 87 4Runner with the digital dash. For the most part, it seems to be working correctly but there's been a few times that it's flickered off for a couple seconds and then back on. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with troubleshooting and repairing/maintaining them? Thx in advance!

 

Did the whole cluster turn off or just the speed, fuel, and temp display?

I had the same issue with my 84 Supra L-Type with the digital dash. The speed, temp, and fuel would go out. A few smacks to th dash and they were back on. The two years I've owned it that never failed me. So I never had to actually figure out what the real issue was.
