Gents,

Idle adjusted to 750 RPM.

Idle drops below 750 when terminals shorted to adjust timing.

4crawler's site says terminal needs to be shorted AND at 750 RPM to adjust timing.

FSM does not mention what the RPM should be after the terminal is shorted.

So do I readjust idle for 750 with terminal shorted, and then do the 5 degrees TDC?

Or

I leave the idle lower than 750 after the terminal shorted, and go to 5 degrees TDC with the lower RPM.

i think that the 4crawler site is correct, set everything with the terminals shorted.
