So i just bought this truck yesterday and after getting it home me and my dad noticed that the break lights weren't working correctly. IF I am in L, 2, N, R, or P they work just fine but if I am in D they do not come on. Also if my head lights are on my break lights do not work. So I am thinking that it might be a short or something but I am not sure where to start looking. Also a little more info there was something on the bed of the truck at some point in time you can see the from the damage to the body, it is also wired for towing. Any help with this issue would be great thanks.

 

Well I figured it out and all i had to do was change a bulb and everything started working again.
