Tom- The Griot's polish pad should be an orange one. The wax applicator is the red one.

Save your money on the wax removal and polish removal bonnets. I have never got either one to work with the PC and niether has Corey as far as I know. Use the microfiber polish towels, $14.95 for ten, to remove the wax and polish.

I don't see the clay bonnet for the PC. You need one of those for the clay use with the PC.

Also how about the Griot's PC backing plate? 6".

Ahh, ok thanks Woody. Good catch on the polish pads. Those polish towels will save a bit of $$. Already got the backing plate, and I scored a new Griots clay holder from the classifieds here!

I am assuming this is for use with a PC. If not, then it would be different.

1. You need to get the red pads for wax and the orange for polish. Get more than one as I have torn one of each and then they are ruined. You don't want to get started and not be able to finish. Get a set of (3) of each of the red and orange.

2. Lots of cotton towels for polish/wax removal. The bonnets don't seem worth it for what they take off IMO. I have about 40 or so and often use them all when detailing a rig.

3. Microfiber dry towel.

4. I got all (3) of the polishes as the #2 is good for some areas, and perhaps even #1 on bad spots, and I've used all (3) on other rigs.

5. Clay bar pad for the PC - a must IMO. I can clay a rig in 10 minutes with one of these.

I also use the Griot's glass cleaner with lint free towels. Work GREAT!

I think that is about all that I got.

My first Griots purchase was around $275 with shipping!

I would also recommend Vinylex for your rubber, vinyl etc, even on the tires, and Lexol for the leather inside.

14600 Ten 100% Cotton Polishing Cloths $14.95
10222 Sheepskin Dust/Wash Mitt $15.95
15400 Dimpled Synthetic Chamois $14.95
11510 Ultimate Window Cleaning Kit $24.95

BTW Tom- Heads up on that Rubber and vinyl dressing. That stuff is the s#it on tires and all other rubber and vinyl trim including interior dashes, door trim etc. That little bottle will go quick. The stuff is non-silicone based and well worth the $29 for a 35 once bottle and the sprayer cost.

I've had one 35 once bottle for almost a year and I just reordered another bottle Monday. It doesn't take much to make the tires look great and the road grime and brake dust isn't attracted to it like the silicone based stuff plus it has an anti UV component.
