Drove home from work the other night all the "dummy" lights were on across the dash, my tach and speedometer didnt work headlights and dash lights were dim and heater fan was barley blowing. Battery tested bad so I replaced it but my "dummy" lights are still on. Im assuming it is my alternator but before i freeze my balls off yanking it out I wanted to see what you guy thought about what is happening. Thanks in advance for the info!!

Simple to break out the voltmeter and get some real world numbers.

It very well may be old and tired cables

maybe a poor ground .

Only way to tell is get some numbers or just replace parts till you get lucky
