1985 Toyota 2Lt upgrade and performance suggestions

I recently acquired a 1985 Toyota truck with the 2lt diesel motor. So far I have: replaced the factory turbo with one from China (unfortunately), replaced a broken camshaft, new tires, new bench seat, and retrofitted both battery fastening systems to work properly. I need more power. I just turned up the fuel pump 1/4 turn (signifigant difference). I plan on installing a 5/16 washer on the turbo where the waste gate mounts to hopefully increase my boost a bit. Overall the truck is in pretty good shape and has been cared for and maintained mechanically. Can anyone recommend or point me in the right direction to get more power out of the 2Lt? Where can I buy an intercooler for this truck? I would like to get a bigger turbo or a stock one that has been rebuilt with performance enhancing parts. Can someone recommend a old air intake? I have been unable to fin a company that makes one for this truck. Lastly, what are your guys thoughts on doing a cab swap from a regular cab long bed to an extended cab with a short bed. Thanks for your input and consideration.

The Toyota diesels (2L and 2LT) in the 80's were not the best engines. The 22R is vastly superior as for endurance. I have a 2L and a 2LT. The 2L has antique plates on it and never hauls a load. I am satisfied with the power, the 2LT I rebuilt, including the turbo, have yet to get tags for it for highway use to compare for power. Bottom line, I would not push it for more power, from what I have learned. Make sure that the injector pump is timed correctly. I made a copy of the Toyota factory tool and learned I needed it for proper injector timing.
