I purchased a 1993 4runner about 5 weeks ago, and I a quickly learning that the stock headlights are fairly dim. I am trying to see if there are any clear lens options for the 1993 4runner as I want to do a projector retrofit, and I am trying to not throw HIDs in there because that blinds everyone. My 4runner is not the one with the pickup front end with the 6x7 headlights, but it is the one with the weird point on the inside of the headlight. So what I am trying to find out: are there any clear lens headlights for the 2nd gen 4runners or can I swap to the 3rd gen 4runner headlights? They look similar to me, but does anyone have experience with swapping the 3rd gen lights to a 2nd gen? Here are the headlights I'm talking about:
