Are there any rear drums that i need to stay away from?

I need to replace the rear pads since they were coated on grease from failing axle seals.
The dealer wanted $300 to turn down the 15 year old drums and replace the shoes and hardware.
I had replaced the front rotors with premium centric and a good pad and that is working well for me.

In the past for a rotor i would buy a advance brand and those never had great wear.

I want to replace the rear drums and i can choose between the carquest one from advance, centric premium or something else in that price range.

Is there a recommended drum to go with and the ones to avoid?

That's funny, i can't find brembo drums anywhere. I guess anything in the $50 range will work.

I am happy with my Napa Drums your part # ND4401535 @$50.00 each

The Brembo part # At Napa is ATM0962407 @120.00 a piece or so each

Prices are ball park

If you want to do Seals and wheel bearings and brakes I would be glad to help and give moral support.

Be kinda of a no brainer to do the brake work before the rest as it all needs to come off.

It must suck with East bound 30 closed I trying to stay away till after the weekend.

The seals were done by York toyota for $300. I had them do an alignment while they were in there. I'll probably go with the carquest or centric premium, new hardware kit and of course new shoes.

They said that 30 might open up later tonight, i'll keep you posted.
