Understanding my URD 7th
I have a 2002 4Runner with rebuilt supercharger, URD 7th injector with AIC on board.
I recently installed this set up.
I have the following questions:
Closed loop:
I am measuring ~+13-15 long term fuel trim at idle with a GoPoint OBD2 scanner? At 2500 rpm it is ~+4-6. Is this normal with the URD and supercharger?
Is the reading "adjusted" by the URD?
Should I even care about this unless there is a vacuum leak or other issue?
I just want to insure my truck is running properly since I now have black soot on my tailpipe. Seems to run great no knocking.
Thanks

This is just hear-say, but I've heard that running premium fuel will adjust your long term trims like that. I have no idea what my trims are at- never have cared to know. I calculate my gas mileage at every fill up, and have an AFR gauge so I can monitor my closed and open loop AFRs. If either of those goes out of whack, I have a problem. Otherwise I let the ECU do it thing, and it does very well.

Really important if you're doing any kind of boosting, IMO.
