1994 Toyota truck gearing

I have this truck with lots of lift, SAS'd and dual t-cases (I bought it this way). It is currently running 35's and 4:10 (aprox) gears and needs a re-gear in the worst way. I have looked at buying gears and doing it myself but I am pretty sure that is beyond my ability. So, I am thinking of a simpler idea... just replace the tires with 33's. On the gearing calculators (http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html) it looks like that would have a small effect on my overall gearing.
SO, I have two questions: 1. In seat of the pants driving will going from 35's to 33's make much difference? and 2. How stupid is this truck going to look with 33's? Thanks in advance. -R
