Hey all, just ordered a full DNJ gasket set for my 3VZE on the recommendation that engnbldr gave me. Everything looks good, except for this damage to one of the head gaskets.





Will this be alright or should I try to get replacements?

 

i would hit it with some high temp red/copper or blue rtv in that spot to replace the white sealant and use it, as long as the rest is good and all the cylinder seal rings are good.

 

Alright, sounds good. I kind of freaked out when I opened the package because the cylinder holes are all oblong, then I did some searching and realized that is normal. *whew*
