I built a rear bumper for my buddy Jarrod and man is he lucky. The more you use your rig, you might get an idea here or there on how it could be better. He happens to be the lucky recipient of a few good ideas and improvements.

Better welds.

Rear tire not in the way.

Better latch placement. Directly over keepers.

Me re-cutting the cable hole a big taller with my grinder, won't see that little mess with the roller fairlead.

 

Just curious are there bearings or bushings in the hinge for the spare tire.

Where I am in the liquid brine belt one would need to move the tire every few days and lube things.
