Hi all, have a 87 22r. CA edition SAS 4x4. 175k miles.

Having a few problems with my truck, or should I say my carb! My problems are, my cold high idle does not engage, my truck smells like fuel when I accelerate or rev it, and just recently ONCE my truck is warmed up it starts to spudder and eventually die.

Here's what I've done, NEWLY rebuilt carb from a carb only shop, new fuel pump, all new vac lines, and a COMPLETE tune up.

When my truck started dieing at idle once warm I found a vac line to be off, so I plugged it back in. Made no difference though, still runs rough when warm. It does NOT spudder/die when cold though... Always smells rich but exhaust does not blow black. I'm thinking choke related? Everything's hooked up like it should be, at a loss right now.
