fsm-cylinder head rear plate
fist of all I would thank you all for your replies. Looked for a factory service manual found one on amazon for 499.00 my pockets are not that deep. I will find what I need soon. I have one question for the person that has a fsm need to know the torque for the cylinder rear plate I have a 1990 Toyota pu with 22r engine

Looking at my 22R plate, it shows they used an 8mm bolt with a 4 marking. In Toyota Standard Bolt tightening Torque in my 1983 FSM, it shows it needs to be torqued to 9 ft lbs. In some threads, they call that a EGR crossover plate.

Hello All,
My name is Mike and I'm new here and have used this forum to find great info on my two Toyota rigs (1994 Pickup 2XD/Ext Cab and 2000 4Runner SR5).
I have stitched together, from various resources, a 1990-1995 Pickup FSM. It is not indexed, however, so it could be cumbersome to use but I believe it to be complete.
Here is the link:

and here is a link to an indexed version but he doesn't have 22RE engine info in it. My link above does have the 22RE engine section.

I'm just completing a complete top overhaul of my 22RE engine which blew out it's head gasket in the deep cold of Wisconsin winter and waiting for the LCE headers (5 week wait when they told me initially they were in stock
)
I was hoping to find a 4WD specimen, however, a good friend of mine was selling his 2WD Texas truck with pristine underbody and frame. I put a TrueTrac post in it which gives me a fighting chance in the snow.

I hope that I'll be able to make a contribution to the community as I learn more about my Toyota rigs.
All for now,
Mike
