99 4runner wobble/shakes?

Ok so I'm not the most mechanically sound person on this forum I'll do my best to explain my problem. I'm experiencing pretty bad wobbles and shakes when my 4runner is in gear and slowing down. When im not applying the throttle and its in gear it feels like the back end starts shaking or like a jerky bumping. If I drop the 4runner into neutral it stops completely. I just had the tires replaced so I dont believe this is a unbalanced tire or anything of that sort. Any help would be appreciated..

Pretty hard call to make .

Just when did this start ? After the tires work was done??

How many miles ??

Could be a ujoint getting worse .

Might be worn suspension parts broken shock mount .

Transmission mount?

Just how bad does it shake ??

This happens from all speeds and not just within a certain range??

Started about a month ago And thought I had a bad tire so I put 4 new tires on and the problem is still there. The vehicle has just over 180,000 miles on it. It seems to shake worse in second gear when no gas/throttle is applied. But, it can be felt in gears 1-4 in gear with no throttle applied as vehicle is slowing down. As I said if I put it into neutral it stops immediately. Also it's hard to say if shake is the correct word. It could also be described as a shutter....

i'd check engine and transmission mounts before you go replacing anything.

What ever it is as soon as there is no torque it seems to quit.

Check all the yokes that they have not worked loose.

Did you by chance have either of the drive shafts off and they are working loose??

Does it happen in slow speeds as well? If so, take off the rear driveline, then drive in 4WD so that only the front wheels are driving the truck. Does the shaking/wobble still happen?
